Run a community group for young people?

Want something new for them to work towards?

Community Sports activity and competitions for young people aged 14+

We’re introducing a new series of community competitions for young people to take part in.
We expect that most of the people taking part will not have had much experience of these sports. We will give you plenty of time, guidance and advice, so the young people can prepare for them.

We will provide:
 All equipment you will need
 Training for you or a suitable person leading the group
 A YouTube clip to show young people, so you and they know how to play the game
 Fun games and activities to practise the skills required
 Transport to the competition (where required)

What we will need from you:
 Register of all young people taking part in practice sessions
 Feedback on what other sports your young people would be interested in

First competition: Indoor 6-a-side cricket at Lancashire County Cricket Club, Tuesday 19th May, 6:30pm start
Equipment is now available for you to start practising for this competition. Please contact Howard (details below) for more information.
Second competition: Volleyball and Beach Volleyball, mid-July
Sports not relevant/suitable?
If your young people are not interested in these sports but would be keen to take part in others, please contact Howard on 0161 868 6850.07834 416264 or email
