Lanky proves he is head and shoulders above the rest as he completes the Great Manchester Run
All of Lanky’s hard work and effort was in a bid to raise funds for the LCCC Foundation, the charity arm of Lancashire County Cricket Club, to help deliver a range of community projects, programmes and events.Lanky wasn’t alone though and was ably supported by a team of 11 LCCC Foundation runners, many running the distance for the first time, all in aid of the LCCC Foundation.
This is second of the 2015 Challenges that the LCCC Foundation have been involved in following April’s successful abseil down The Pavilion at Emirates Old Trafford which saw over 30 brave abseilers including LCB Thunder’s Captain, Jasmine Titmuss descend the 120 foot drop.Jasmine was joined by other LCCC Foundation supporters who also took time out to raise money for the Foundation and for some, overcame their fear of heights
Further Challenges to come later this year include the Great Manchester Swim, Manchester to Blackpool Bike Ride and Lakes 5 Peaks. For more information on the Challenges, to sign up to a specific Challenge or to simply find out more about the community work of the LCCC Foundation, please visit www.lcccfoundation.co.uk
