Into Film - Greater Manchester On Film Festival

Greater Manchester On Film Festival - a celebration of film, culture and community

Into Film is a film education charity that puts film at the heart of the educational and personal development of children and young people aged 5-19 across the UK.

The LCCC Foundation are delighted to be working together as a partner with Into Film and we ourselves are hosting one of the films here at Emirates Old Trafford.

The film that will be shown is "Fire in Babylon" – A compelling documentary about the golden age of West Indian cricket and the racial attitudes of the 1970s and 80s.  This will be shown on 14th March.

This is a great film and one not to be missed!!!

Greater Manchester On Film Festival (GMOFF)
Specifically curated for the young people of Greater Manchester, GMOFF will run from 7 – 27 March, and will consist of free pop-up film screenings and learning activities in exciting cultural venues across Greater Manchester.

Celebrating film, culture and community, the Festival will use the medium of film to engage young people from Greater Manchester with places of cultural interest.

With review writing competitions, as well as educational workshops or industry Q&As accompanying most screenings, it will provide a variety of fun, memorable learning experiences that will help to improve literacy, critical thinking, communication and team work skills.
