The Foundation’s main educational programme for schools, ’Education without Boundaries’, has now welcomed over 1000 schoolchildren to Emirates Old Trafford since its launch in November ‘13. It gives Primary and Secondary schools the opportunity to come to Emirates Old Trafford for a day of Education and Cricket.

There are currently four strands to the Education without Boundaries programme: Lanky’s Literacy Club, Lanky’s Numbers Game, Lanky’s lesson in Fair Play and Lanky the Reporter. In January ‘15, Education without Boundaries will launch its fifth strand Lanky’s Carbon Hoof Print.

The Lanky inspired activities will give children the chance to practice their fundamental skills in a fun way as well as play cricket in the Indoor Cricket Centre. Whether it is a game of LCCC Top Trumps or a LankSky Sports News Report the children learn whilst discovering the wonderful world of cricket. Many of the cricket themed resources are delivered through the use of iPads.
