LANCASHIRE COUNTY Cricket Club is delighted to be taking part in Key103’s Cash for Kids Mission Christmas Toy Appeal.

Special ‘Mission Christmas’ containers will be placed in the Pavilion and Indoor Cricket Centre at Emirates Old Trafford where staff and visitors can donate toys which will be given this Christmas to local families affected by poverty.
Key 103’s Cash for Kids Mission Christmas Toy Appeal looks to brighten Christmas for these children by asking you to buy an extra present when doing your Christmas shopping.

Last year, Manchester took the appeal by storm as 1,417 businesses and schools across the city signed up to support Key103’s campaign. They smashed their target to raise £1m worth of toys and delivered presents to over 32,000 children across Manchester. The support and generosity of the people of Manchester was overwhelming, and Key103 is asking for your help again this year.
They would like the toys, vouchers or gift sets (please do not donate clothes) to be left at the collection points by no later than 5pm on Friday  12 December.

Sandy Mitchell, from the LCCC Foundation, said: “Key103’s Cash for Kids Mission Christmas Toy Appeal is an ideal fit with the aims and aspirations of the LCCC Foundation and builds on the existing partnership already in place between the two charities. By getting behind this campaign all the staff at LCCC can help to make a real difference to the lives of children affected by poverty and continue to support and inspire local communities through cricket.”

Key103 Breakfast presenters Mike and Chelsea said: “We’re so pleased to have Emirates Old Trafford on board supporting Mike and Chelsea’s Mission Christmas. Our Mission is simple. To ensure as many disadvantaged children in our city receive a gift this Christmas.

“Last year we helped over 32,000 kids and this year we want to help even more.

“With Emirates Old Trafford on board this is another way we can ensure that we’re going to make this happen.”
