Who is your Lancashire County Cricket Club Player of the Year for 2015?

It’s been quite a year for the Red Rose with the NatWest T20 Blast title in the bag and promotion back to Division One of the LV= County Championship already secured. With two games remaining, Lancashire will be going all out to secure the title. But who has been your stand-out performer this season?

LCCC is inviting Members and Supporters to cast their votes by emailing with the player’s name in the subject title. Voting is open now and will end at the close of play on Lancashire’s final match of the season against Essex at Chelmsford which starts on Tuesday 22 September.

After the success of last year’s Gala Dinner we would like to invite you to join us at The Point on Saturday 3rd October for a night that will combine cricket, glamour and entertainment.

The evening will once again incorporate the LCCC Player of the Year Awards, celebrating the success of both the LCCC men’s First XI and the LCB Thunder this season.

The event will also look to raise funds to support the work of the LCCC Foundation; delivering a range of health, education, community cohesion and cricket development projects, programmes and events to engage and inspire communities through cricket.

LCCC Members have the opportunity to purchase tickets / a table for this event at the discounted rate of £50 per member (plus additional tickets for non-members at a rate of £65 per person), and  help the Foundation to continue to make a real difference to individuals and communities.

To take up this offer please call 0161 868 6849 or email

The evening will feature awards being presented to Lancashire players for their efforts throughout the 2015 season which will culminate in the Player of The Year Award. Last year, all rounder Tom Smith picked up the accolade.

The event will get underway at 7.00pm with a Champagne Reception in the Mezzanine Bar. The evening will then continue with a sumptuous four-course meal, followed by top quality entertainment and the awards. (Please note: the dress code is Black Tie).
