The Foundation and Lancashire County Cricket Club are Painting the Roses Red!

We may not be painting the whole town red, but we will be painting the roses that colour at a party that can only get curiouser and curiouser….. The Point is gearing up to be transformed into a Mad Batters Tea Party for the LCCC Foundations’ Inaugural Gala Ball. The Foundation is the official charity of LCCC and are hosting a fundraising Gala Dinner like no other on the 29th June.

It’s going to be an evening of wondrous entertainment that will leave you grinning like a Cheshire Cat, on the bill are home grown talent The Gramotones one of the cities hottest new acts who will be on the line-up at this year’s Isle of Wight Festival and who are supporting Tim Burgess on his UK tour, plus the voice, Marianne Knight, who will fly in from Ireland to perform and is described by Hotpress Magazine as ‘one of the most exciting vocalists to come along in years’.

As a Cricket fan the night will be a chance to meet legends from the cricketing world past and present and find out more about the Foundation’s work in the community. The whole of the LCCC first team will be in attendance amongst a host of other stars from the world of sport, television, music, and the business community.

LCCC Foundation Ambassador and England and Lancashire pace bowler James Anderson said:

‘The Gala Ball will be no ordinary Sportsman’s Dinner; it will be a great night of entertainment and a chance to support the Foundations work in the community. I’ve been involved with the Foundation since 2011 and the work they have been doing to inspire the community is pioneering. Make sure you don’t miss out; it will be a night to remember!”
