Would you like to become one of LCCC Foundations Young Trustees?

The LCCC Foundation currently work with a group of young people to assist the LCCC Foundation in enhancing community opportunities for people of their own age in their own areas.
The Young Trustees lead on community events, participate in programmes and projects, represent our charity and also volunteer. These events have previously included attending the LCCC Foundation Gala Ball and 2014 Test Match.
In 2013 the Young Trustees were invited to go to the BBC to make a film about the LCCC Foundation and what we do, this has been shown at a number of events held by the LCCC Foundation including the Gala Ball.
They have also had the chance to interview some of our Ambassadors, who include, Phil Neville, Alex Winters, Tom Smith, Peter Reid, Sgt Rick Clement, Mark Chapman & Paul Horton.
Couple of things that the Young Trustees will be involved in next year will be a Graffiti project which will mean working alongside a local Grafitti artist to brighten up an area of the Emirates Old Trafford Stadium.  They will also be invited to participate in an overnight residential which activities will include things such as Archery, Raft Building and other team building activiites.
If you are interested in becoming one of our Young Trustees and you are between the ages of 11 - 16 and can be available every other Thursday evening between 5.30 & 7p.m, please contact Kay Floyd at
The current panel of young people come from various areas of Trafford and attend Stretford High School and Knutsford High School.
We would like to thank the current panel of Young Trustees for giving up their time to make a difference: Aimee, Sam, Suhayb, Imani and Anisha.
