Young Leaders Workshops
In March a group of 9-13 year olds took part in the Lancashire County Cricket Club Foundation's (LCCCF) first ever Young Leaders workshop, that saw twenty seven achieving the nationally recognised award.
The programme focuses on specific skills such as giving instructions, the organisation of people and equipment, and the use of space. By the end of the course the young lads had the confidence and ability to lead others and the knowledge and experience of an extensive range of games and activities.
The workshop was funded by Sport England and run in partnership with the Lancashire Cricket Board and Lancashire Cricket Centre.
