Laying the foundation for an exciting future!
With Emirates Old Trafford soon to become one of the most state-of-the-art sports stadiums in the country, there is an equally exciting development coming out of the home of the Red Rose with the formation of the LCCC Foundation.
Red Rose Wall – The Story
We have given cricket fans and those with an affinity to Old Trafford the opportunity to be part of Old Trafford’s history, and in doing so, create a lasting legacy in the newly developed home of Lancashire County Cricket Club. The Red Rose Wall has been created to give you the chance to take your place amongst legends and fellow fans.
We are creating a piece of history by giving cricket, sport and music fans the chance to become part of the newly developed stadium at Old Trafford.
A location has been identified within the new Pavilion, where the panels of engraved stones will be installed. The central Legends Panel will honour the greatest Lancashire Legends, both old and new. The Red Rose Stones will be cemented into the wall and given pride of place within the home of cricket in the North West.
Fans have been able to order a Red Rose Stone which can be personalised with a message to commemorate the success of their team, to celebrate their greatest Old Trafford event, honour their favourite Lancashire legends (past or present) or to celebrate a birth, birthday or anniversary.
It is a unique chance to record your passion for cricket and to be part of the legacy for cricket in the North West, that will stretch far into the future. Fans have been able to choose a personal message to celebrate their greatest ever Lancashire or Old Trafford moment, show support for their club or country or celebrate an important occasion such as a birthday, anniversary, family memory or even ask for a loved one’s hand in marriage!
The opportunity to purchase a stone is now closed. If you have already purchased a stone you will continue to be updated of where it is in the process (stone being transported, engraved, installed etc) to finally receiving an email informing you that your stone has been placed on the wall.
