I played cricket as a youngster and I'm a big sports fan in general. I recently moved to Manchester and wanted to support my local cricket club to get young people inspired and involved with cricket so I was delighted to be an Ambassador for the Foundation. To see the number of projects the Foundation delivers is amazing; hopefully over the coming months and years the whole community will be involved and it's great I can be a part of that.

I wanted to be an Ambassador to help spread the work of the Foundation to people and places who wouldn't normally be associated with cricket. You get to do a lot of great things playing cricket but the work of the Foundation is most important, especially when you see younger people being involved in projects and activity that they wouldn't have normally engaged in.
